THE WEE COURSE STARTER HUTNORTH BERWICK GOLF CLUB

Commissioned to build a functional space for golfers, the starter hut is a single story space which houses an office, changing area and rest room facility. Although a simple solution to our clients needs, the hut delivers in functionality and appearance as the Douglas Fir Cladding used on the exterior of the building gives a sleek and contemporary overall look.

Kings Cairn Development, Archerfield

Reywood were appointed to construct a bespoke 6000 sq ft new build home set within the prestigious Kings Cairn development at Archerfield Estate. This 5 bed family home showcases Reywoods’ fine craftsmanship and their ability to deliver the Architects seamless design.

Upon entering, you are met with a custom made solid oak staircase which leads to a bright, open plan kitchen living area, games room and several sliding glass doors to access the surrounding outdoor areas. Upstairs consists of the 5 bedrooms all with luxurious, underfloor heated en-suites. A key design feature which can be found on the upper level is the large glass fronted balcony overlooking the landscaped gardens, patios and purpose-built car port.

C-Listed Cottage Extension, Dirleton

ROSE COTTAGEDIRLETON

The extension to this characterful, c-listed cottage focused on expanding the master bedroom and main living area which involved extensive alterations to the interior of the property. Reywood have transformed the living area which now boasts high ceilings and sky light windows, brightening the space with natural sunlight. French doors fitted in both rooms provides easy access to a newly landscaped garden and patio area.

The Fairways, Gullane

THE FAIRWAYS GULLANE

The Fairways in Gullane, was built on the site of an old garage. A small development consisting of three stunning townhouses were built over three floors. The interiors successfully blend the contemporary with the traditional, however all three slightly differ in terms of aesthetics as the clients were able to choose their own kitchens, bathrooms and colour schemes.

The art of a good house builder is to make the difficult seem easy. This house on Whim Road in Gullane is the perfect example of adding an extension which appears seamless and blends in with the original property.

Seton Mains Farmhouse

SETON MAINS FARMHOUSE

A traditional build house which was altered structurally to make two rooms into one.  This created a contemporary, large kitchen/living area which features a lovely AGA cooker, bi-fold doors and four roof-lights together to give a wonderful sense of light and space.

This is a perfect example of how you can take a the traditional and update it for 21st century living.

The Paddock, Seton Mains

THE PADDOCK SETON MAINS

Extension to create a larger kitchen and give additional living area.  Features a large roof-light, bi-fold doors which remove the barrier between the indoor living space and the garden, and a stunning, contemporary feature fireplace.

16 Craigielaw Park, Aberlady

16 CRAIGIELAW PARK ABERLADY

This project involved a large house extension and internal alterations which saw Reywood become a finalist in the Federation of Master Builders Awards – Large Renovation Project Category 2015.

The extension has a spacious lounge with vaulted ceiling and exposed timbers, a bay gable-end with French doors. The sleek, contemporary dining kitchen has an island breakfast bar, integrated eye-level appliances and a further set of French doors allowing access to the side patio area.

Cateran Cottage, Kippielaw

CATERAN COTTAGE KIPPIELAW

The softness of the oak-clad extension to rear of house lends a successful contrast to the grey stone of the original house. The extension also features ‘porthole’ windows giving an almost nautical air.

This is the second extension to Cateran Cottage completed by Reywood who completed a similar extension to the front of the house previously.

Links Lodge, North Berwick

LINKS LODGE, LINKS ROAD NORTH BERWICK

Originally due for demolition, Links Lodge was salvaged and given a complete make-over instead, with an extension put in place and extensive, internal works carried out.

The house now has a contemporary feel with spacious rooms throughout and large feature-windows which make the most of the light.
